Father, as this day comes to an end, I thank You for carrying me through it. Thank You for every provision, every protection and every quiet mercy I did not even notice.

I lay down the things I could not finish and the worries I have carried since morning. Where I spoke too quickly or acted without love, forgive me and help me to make it right.

Quiet my mind and slow my racing thoughts. Cover my home, my family and everyone I love as we sleep. Your Word says You alone make me dwell in safety, so I choose to rest in that promise tonight. Renew my body and restore my soul.
